Back side
THE SENTENCE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS CARD IS TRUE.
Face side
THE SENTENCE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS CARD IS FALSE.PARADOX. explain the paradox below as to why it is considered TRUE or FALSE.?
Since you begin with the face side first, they are both false. It is the only true statement that can be made about both of them.PARADOX. explain the paradox below as to why it is considered TRUE or FALSE.?
You could keep on going for ever with that one! The face side renders the back side untrue and so reverses it's meaning: the sentence on the other of the back side is not true if the face side is true. Given that the other side is the face side, if it is not true, the sentence on the back side is not false, which would confirm that the statement on the face side is true, and we're back to where we started. The effect of the sentence on each side on it's opposite side causes it to contradict itself. The answer is that there is no constant answer!
It reminds me of a piece of grafitti I read - on he left hand wall of a public convenience it said ';Toilet Tennis - for rules see opposite wall'; . On the opposite wall, it said ';Toilet Tennis - for rules see opposite wall';. Hehehe!
Or -
';My next statement will be the truth.';
Followed by:
';My last statement was a lie.';
