Is this true or false? In multicellular organisms, haploid life stages must be unicellular, diploid life stages can be either unicellular or multicellular. Is this true or false? In multicellular organisms, haploid life stages must be unicellular, diploid life...?
This statement is true for organisms that are diploid with meiosis forming sex cells.

In plants, the gametophyte can be multicellular and haploid. Pollen has two cells and the ovule has seven cells. Fern gametophytes (prothallia) are haploid and multicellular with specialized sex organs. The moss plant is a haploid multicellular organism!

So I would say the statement as written is false. It would have to exclude the plants to be true.
