True or false history questions?

the constitution was compleated in 1776

by the end of the convention, 39 delegates signed the constitution.

the right to peaceably assemble is found in the first amendment.

The Declaration of Independence was completed in 1776. Agreeing on a constitution took quite a bit more time. If you remember, after the Revolution the colonies were ';united'; in the Articles of Confederation, which was unpopular with everyone. I believe the Constitution was passed in 1789.

True or false : The Red Sox won't play at Fenway again until 2008?

True - had the same thought last night...........True or false : The Red Sox won't play at Fenway again until 2008?
False. They'll lose Game 6.True or false : The Red Sox won't play at Fenway again until 2008?
we shall see when they play the games, it really hasn't been decided yet, lets just watch the series and see how it goes. That would be an ideal situation for some but lets just see.
False....................... they are going to play 5 more games there
They came back on my Yankees in 2004! Why are you counting them out.....I'm not!.....';it aint over till its over';....but still....GO YANKEES! STINKIN RED SOX!
true
False!!!! Easy question!
False they Will play game six at Fenway, remember pal this ain't over o.k.
False - the ALCS is 4 games out of 7 - the only way that could be true is if Cleveland, and had won all of the games so far, and wins tonight. The Red Sox won the first game in Boston, so they will play at least one more game in Fenway, even if they lose tonight. [Go Indians!]
I hope its true but I doubt it.
False, I believe they can bring it back but in a losing fashion. Doesnt matter anyway with the way Colorado is playing.
hey legendat...if we win tonight in cleveland, we can clinch in cleveland thursday. remeber theres 2 more games in c town. tonights and thursdays... will we win tonight and thurs.. i hope but realistically bostons tough and that may be hard to do...
Sad but true
True.

Downtown Cleveland will be a madhouse on Thursday night and I will probably not be making it to work on Friday morning.
If you were a true fan you would say false. The Indians have only won 2, Give the Red Sox a chance to come back!
False, even if Indians win tonight, game 5 will be at Fenway. Stupid question.

TRUE OR FALSE: Money can't buy happiness but it can provide comfort; however, greed will only lead to misery?

This is the most true statement in the world. I was born into wealth and was lucky enough to earn a very good amount of money on my own. I have learned that money is not the key to happiness, God, family and friends are. Money CANNOT buy love or happiness. People who think it can are so wrong. I think I am happy because I know that everything I have I owe to God and know that I have to continue to give back each and everyday. I take absolutely nothing for granted.

  • True or False> The Earth's rotation is the main cause of the formation of ocean waves.?

Please answer fast! thank you!!!True or False%26gt; The Earth's rotation is the main cause of the formation of ocean waves.?
    false

    Waves and wind

How wind causes water to form waves is easy to understand although many intricate details still lack a satisfactory theory. On a perfectly calm sea, the wind has practically no grip. As it slides over the water surface film, it makes it move. As the water moves, it forms eddies and small ripples. Ironically, these ripples do not travel exactly in the direction of the wind but as two sets of parallel ripples, at angles 70-80潞 to the wind direction. The ripples make the water's surface rough, giving the wind a better grip. The ripples, starting at a minimum wave speed of 0.23 m/s, grow to wavelets and start to travel in the direction of the wind. At wind speeds of 4-6 knots (7-11 km/hr), these double wave fronts travel at about 30潞 from the wind. The surface still looks glassy overall but as the wind speed increases, the wavelets become high enough to interact with the air flow and the surface starts to look rough. The wind becomes turbulent just above the surface and starts transferring energy to the waves. Strong winds are more turbulent and make waves more easily.

The rougher the water becomes, the easier it is for the wind to transfer its energy. The waves become steep and choppy. Further away from the shore, the water's surface is not only stirred by the wind but also by waves arriving with the wind. These waves influence the motion of the water particles such that opposing movements gradually cancel out, whereas synchronising movements are enhanced. The waves start to become more rounded and harmonious. Depending on duration and distance (fetch), the waves develop into a fully developed sea.

Anyone familiar with the sea, knows that waves never assume a uniform, harmonious shape. Even when the wind has blown strictly from one direction only, the resulting water movement is made up of various waves, each with a different speed and height. Although some waves are small, most waves have a certain height and sometimes a wave occurs which is much higher.True or False%26gt; The Earth's rotation is the main cause of the formation of ocean waves.?

Do king charles need a special diet, people have told me to avoid all meat forms,is this true or false, many tha?

i own a king charles and he doesn't have a special diet. We buy him the pedigree senior as he is really old but you can get pedigree puppy and pedigree adult and i think a few more. It is a yellow bag:

    http://www.feedem.co.uk/dog-2/dog-food-1鈥?/a>

You can get pouches and cans aswel but mine prefers dry. The only special requirment for these dogs is to feed them pedigree food, a lot of the other stuff can make them ill. Roast cicken and rice is what we also feed my dog for a special dinner!!

    Hope i helped!

JORDAN S - My king charles is 14 in december and is showing no signs of kicking the bucket!!Do king charles need a special diet, people have told me to avoid all meat forms,is this true or false, many tha?
Wow, their dogs probably won't live past 12. Anyways, if your dog does come down with some allergy, salmon-based dog food is the best. Most vegetarian owners anxious to get their dogs on a cruelty-free diet, will find out their dog is allergic to chicken and automatically switch to a vegan kibble when they haven't even tried venison, duck, fish,or lamb, saying that their dog is allergic to meat.

I feed my dog Innova EVO small bites. Perfect. High in protein and low in carbs.Do king charles need a special diet, people have told me to avoid all meat forms,is this true or false, many tha?
for ALL dogs, you want to look at the first 10 ingredients specifically, in all dog foods... this makes up 80% of the food's content. The first and foremost ingredients should be MEAT. (Make sure it says a specific meat, ex: Chicken, Lamb, Turkey.)

You want to avoid WHEAT and CORN as many dogs have allergies to these two items, and they are do not meet the dog's nutritional needs, but are simply a filler.

Also avoid ';Bi-products'; This means it is not muscle, but the feathers, beak, feet etc. of the animal.

';Gluten'; is the product that was in the news not too long ago, it is to be avoided as well. Your best bet is to NOT buy your dog food at the grocery store, but go to a pet shop and read ingredients. I like ';Blue Diamond'; brand from PetSmart personally but there are a lot to pick from.
Some dogs are allergic to various foods just like some people. King Charles Spaniels are no more likely to be allergic to meat than any other breed of dog.

Here are two Web pages for national clubs. Neither mention anything about needing a meat free diet. They do mention a variety of potential health issues that good breeders are trying to breed out of their lines. The people you have talked to are clearly badly misinformed. I would take anything else they told you with a giant grain of salt! You will be able to find a reputable breeder on these sites and lots of good information about the breed as well.

    http://www.ckcsc.org/

    http://www.ackcsc.org/
King Charles are a breed of dog. A dog eats meat.

However some dogs in any breed, or a mutt, can sometimes need a special diet. But that's not down to the type of dog, it's down to the possible special needs of the individual dog (is that English?)

So what you have been told is false lol.
Try him on small amounts of food first, Hills is a very good one and it was recommended to me by my vet. Sometimes dry is better than wet but it is up to you. Just don't over feed him.
    What!!?? Sorry, It's absolute rubbish!

Dogs are carnivores first and foremost, they need meat as their principle and main food source.

Feeding dogs anything else is animal cruelty in my opinion.
Dogs are carnivore. They eat meat. Feed a high quality kibble and keep the vaccinations to a minimum and you'll be fine.
Your dog is a descendant of the wolf, of course he eats meat. All dogs are carnivores.
no, dogs eat meat. not just certain kinds of dogs. all dogs eat meat.
It's false. Normal dog food is perfectly fine for him.
Is a King Charles like a Prince Albert?

If humans are in the same class as domestic cats we must also be in the same order true or false? explain?

    False.

In the system of zoological classification, Class is higher level of categorization than Order.

Both cats and humans are in the Class Mammalia, meaning they are both tetrapod vertebrates that have hair or fur, and nourish their young with milk produced by mammary glands on the female. There are also other similarities, such as a single lower jaw bone (mandible), and three inner ear bones.

These traits separate them from other Classes of Vertebrata, such as amphibians, reptiles and birds.

After that, though, there are many different Orders of mammal.

Cats are in Order Carnivora, characterized by the possession of a pair of blade-like shearing teeth known as the carnassials, formed by the upper 4th premolar and lower 1st molar on each side.

Humans are in Order Primates, which also includes lemurs, tarsiers, monkeys and the other great apes.If humans are in the same class as domestic cats we must also be in the same order true or false? explain?
I think true, if an order goes before class..

    i.e.

    Order:

    Class:

or something. So, if we are in the Mammalia order, so are cats. They give live birth, feed their offspring milk, and are relativly... not as far off as an alligator would be.

To me age doesn't matters ...!!!

    ~~ 18 Till i die ~~True or False Age ain't nothin but a number?
Age is how long you have been alive

how you feel has nothing to do with it. You can feel 900 when you get up or go to bed after a long day or you can feel like a kid when you are having a good day. So yes to a point i think age is just a number. It is all in how you percieve it individaully.
False. Age is maturity, immaturity, wisdom, being unwise, experience, inexperience, innocence, and corruptness. Age is way more than just a number.
Hi again:) It's false. When I became desperately ill I found that age is age and it sucks but sure beats the alternative!

True or False: GIRLS! If you consider a guy to be just a friend, he can never be your BF?

    GIRLS~

If you consider a guy to be just a friend (NOT Date material) at first, can he ever become ';date-able'; later as you get to know him better?

    OR

If a guy is put into a FRIENDS category, he can never escape?

(...all this is according to the laddertheory)True or False: GIRLS! If you consider a guy to be just a friend, he can never be your BF?
FALSE: sometimes when we at first find a guy to be a great friend, but we're not interested in dating, we may get to know him better over time and fall for him, finding interest later.

Not in every case of course, but it can happen.True or False: GIRLS! If you consider a guy to be just a friend, he can never be your BF?
The Ladder Theory is half bull ****.

It is possible for a guy to be ';just a friend'; and then possibly be date-able as I get to know him. I have had plenty of friends who were just friends and then began to date. All girls are different, you're lucky if you meet a girl like this.

For me, it's different. When I meet a guy, there's period for me to decided whether or not he's date-able. For example, the way he dresses, way he speaks, what kind of personality, way he acts, etc. If there's multiple things I don't like, he's automatically a friend - but that doesn't mean that there isn't a chance of me falling for him down the line - the chance is just slim.

If I decide he's in the middle or that I like him as a person, he goes in the maybe ';ladder';. There might be things I find out about him later one that I might dislike, therefore he goes into the friend ladder. There may be things I like about him which obviously will make me think he's even a greater potential boyfriend.

The ladders are not set in stone and guys are easily shifted from one ladder to the other. So yes, the Ladder Theory has holes and I believe to be made up solely for entertainment purposes.
    False.

I was surprised myself that after a number of years of having had a very good friend, I began, or rather we began to console one another about what had been a few romantic failures and saw within one another the possibility of falling in love, as w if we had been for a time, yet never had troubled to look at each other romantically. We plan to marry in May of this year.

I believe that before him, I'd always been looking for that person whose great challenge to my personality was what cause sparks and fireworks...now I understand that I had been searching for people who were emotionally unavailable. Perhaps I was unavailable as well...
no, that's not true...Friendship is the very step to have intimate relationship... Which means, thru this friendship you may know the person more...Because of constant being together and communication, sometimes unintentionally you got fall from each other...

It would be nice that the ultimate relationship started from friendship because this means that there would be much adjustment to carry or the two of you are comfortable to each other already that you don't have to pretend to be what you want to be for impression purposes because you partner already knows your weaknesses and strength...
    1/2 true 1/2 false

A girl can put a guy into just frends but never gonna date him but later on want to date him. No u can escape the just friends category if u play ur cards right. Like on Vday if i dont have a date and he asks me out and ive kinda liked him then bye bye friends hello boyfriends category but u have to remember u can get out of that one too im just not gonna tell u how
Friendship is the best basis for marriage! Period!

If you have already established a friendship with a guy, he won't hurt your feelings as easily as a casual relationship and when you marry, that same theory will apply!

My husband and I had the friendship first and we were married nearly 22 years until his death.
Im a guy, and that is not true, I know for a fact.

All those cheesy websites that say don't do that, is made up of a 100 nerds who have never gotten a girl so they make dumb advice for others.

Listen to someone who actually know what their talking about.

    Remeber anything is possible. ;)

    Good Luck
well, i considered this guy to be only my very close friend, and 4 months earlier, he asked me out, and i realized that i actually liked him quite a lot, which i wouldnt have ever thought of, and now weve been going out ever since. so, yeah, girls can change their minds.
i kno im not a girl, but i've seen it happen with my friends, people that knew each other for along time then start dating. altho it seems to happen with people who are jus casual acquaintances, so maybe the person has changed into something they like next time they see them
you can have a guy best friend if he is gay....you cannot have a true guy best friend without having some ';feelings'; involved. some may not like to admit it...but there is always a little sexual tension that is present.
That's not true. Many people that I have known have had guy friends that they have initially only seen as friends, but over time and closer friendships with them have grown into actual romantic relationships.
False...he can become ';date-able';, and yeah he can escape into the ';friends with benefits'; category!

  • TRUE OR FALSE: The second step when evaluating the expression 81+3-9+6+19 is 81+3?

If all the operations were addition, you could do them in any order. However, since subtraction is involved, you must do them in strict left-to-right order until you have completed the subtraction.

    (81 + 3) - 9 + (6 + 19) is much different than (81 + 3) - (9 + 6 + 19). The first one is the way you must evaluate it, to come out with an answer of 100.

The answer to your original question is maybe, since you could evaluate the (6 + 19) first, but really, it should be false, since you should evaluate it left to right.TRUE OR FALSE: The second step when evaluating the expression 81+3-9+6+19 is 81+3?
ya, sure. it doesnt matter b/c they are all addition/subtraction. so you can just do the math straight across.TRUE OR FALSE: The second step when evaluating the expression 81+3-9+6+19 is 81+3?
This it true only if you realize that you add the ones to the equation by adding and you subtract the ones by subtracting. You can't group together the two different ones.
You can do it in any order. If you want to do 81+3 second, that's okay. Most people would do that first.
yes. in evaluating the expression like this follow the rule of BEODMAS means Bracket, Exponent, Of (multiply), Division, Multiplication, Addition and Subtraction.
this answer is false because 81+3-9+6+19=100 but 81+3=84 so 100 is not equal to 81so this answer is wrong. it's mean81+3-9+619 is 81+3.

False. The Allied powers war production was much greater then the Axis.

I can give you two examples. When the Soviet army attacked Berlin in 1945, it had more artillery massed in that one sector of the front than the Nazi Army had possessed during the entire war.

    A German officer who had surrendered to the Americans told them that a one Panzer could defeat ten American tanks.. ';But somehow you always had eleven.';
Between 1940 and 1945 Japan produced nearly 75,000 aircraft. The US produced nearly 300,000.

The Declaration of Independence was completed in 1776. Agreeing on a constitution took quite a bit more time. If you remember, after the Revolution the colonies were ';united'; in the Articles of Confederation, which was unpopular with everyone. I believe the Constitution was passed in 1789.

Humans are in Order Primates, which also includes lemurs, tarsiers, monkeys and the other great apes.If humans are in the same class as domestic cats we must also be in the same order true or false? explain?

False, a ton is a ton, regardless of what you are weighing.

They both way a ton, so they are the same
    false
They equal the same...that is what you stated. They both equal one ton. So your proposed question is false.

True or False> The Earth's rotation is the main cause of the formation of ocean waves.?

Although some waves are small, most waves have a certain height and sometimes a wave occurs which is much higher.True or False%26gt; The Earth's rotation is the main cause of the formation of ocean waves.?

i own a king charles and he doesn't have a special diet. We buy him the pedigree senior as he is really old but you can get pedigree puppy and pedigree adult and i think a few more. It is a yellow bag:

You can get pouches and cans aswel but mine prefers dry. The only special requirment for these dogs is to feed them pedigree food, a lot of the other stuff can make them ill. Roast cicken and rice is what we also feed my dog for a special dinner!!

True, because liberal christianity is more progressive than the 2000 yr old version.

How many gay and lesbian people would be christians if not for the whole being gay is a mortal sin ranting by the conservative christians?

Right now, the Episcopal Church has a better chance of surviving longer than any other sect of christianity. If only because they tend not to preach hate about gays. Well, the liberal Episcopal church that is, not the ones that are breaking away to join with the African churches. (which is, btw, more or less against how they work. True.
My conjecture is that the current strong wave of rigid conservative Christianity will loose some strength and the tide will ebb back to (at least) a more moderate stance, and the liberal Christians will play a bigger role.

Much of the conservative movement is too rigid and with the transparency of media documenting fundamentalism (Jesus Camp, Creation Museum, the Phelps, internet news sites that detail stuff like that Navy vet denied a memorial service), the backlash against the ';fundies'; and extremists will grow.
    What's the diff?
It may be true. Or not.

I know a lot of those around me want a more forgiving, tolerant, loving religion and I live in a very conservative place.

There are a lot of the same people researching other religions or deciding to '; take a break'; from practice.

True or False : Congress can never effectively overturn a U.S. Supreme Court decision by amending a statute.?

If congress changes a law, the Supreme Court decision still stands, because the law only applies to this point forward. ';Ex Post Facto'; laws are illegal. You can bring new cases to be tried under the new law, but it won't overturn the decision of the Supremes.

You can't arrest me for parking on the south side of the street a month ago, if you only enacted the law that made it illegal last week. When I did it, it was legal. You can change the law, but you can't make what I did before the law illegal.True or False : Congress can never effectively overturn a U.S. Supreme Court decision by amending a statute.?
I think the key phrase here is “effectively overturn,” meaning to overturn in effect or in application. In that case I believe the statement to be false because a statute declared unconstitutional may be so because of some element that the court objects to. If that element is removed by amending the law, the courts decision is “effectively” overturned even though it stands in the record in relation to the law in its original form.True or False : Congress can never effectively overturn a U.S. Supreme Court decision by amending a statute.?
False: The Supreme Court often interprets the ';intent of Congress'; when making a decision. If Congress passes new legislation making something explicitly clear, then that trumps the Supremes. The court might come back with the decision that the whole thing is unconstitutional.

    False.

In the Senate, the Majority Whip is the third or fourth highest-ranking individual in the majority party (the party with the greater number of legislators in a legislative body). The Majority Whip is outranked by the Majority Leader, the President Pro Tempore and, if the majority also holds the executive branch, the President of the Senate. Because the office of President Pro Tempore is largely honorific, usually given to the senior senator of the majority, and the President of the Senate only acts in cases of a tie, the Majority Leader holds considerably more power than his or her House counterpart and so by extension an argument could be made that the Majority Whip is the second ranking individual in terms of actual power. Similarly, in the House the Majority Whip is outranked by both the Majority Leader and the Speaker.

In both the House and the Senate, the Minority Whip is the second highest-ranking individual in the minority party (the party with the lesser number of legislators in a legislative body), outranked only by the Minority Leader.

I've made friends with people I have little in common with, but who are nice people, and my life isn't so morbid and gloomy now. You have to take what friendships you can find.
FALSE: You pick your family before you incarnate in order to complete the lessons and complete the karma you have with those relatives. Everything is written in your Book of Life.
You can never pick your friends. A few years ago, I was forced to be friends with this girl who was really immature and thought herself the opposite. Worst year of my life. Hated Middle School. Still do. ((I'm still there....argh...)) Truth is, I'm better off alone. (howls)

That cannot be answered as true or false.

Depends on how paranoid the enemy is about you coming to invade first.True or False- If you don't fight the enemy on their land, they will come and attack you on yours?
Depends. In most cases it is true
That is as a rule true. The catch to the question is, is the ';enemy'; really your enemy or a perceived enemy? Given the man power, supplies, money and other resources your enemy will always come to fight you if they can. It's always best to go when you have the upper hand, before they end up getting it. =)
    I thought they did? I guess I am mis-informed.
FACT. TRUE. Liberals believe that if we just talk to them they will stop hating us.
False. They come to your land to fight you when they can't get you off their land by any other means.
Depends on the enemies' means ... There is no chance that Afghanistan, Iran, Syria and the like would be able to fight a war on US of A territory

True Failure to stop aggression of one county or in one country shows a week and venerable society thus if sufficient strength is gained by one they will look for who is seen as weak and the attack is on. True or False: Christianity was originally created as a way to gain power and control the masses?

';Religion is what keeps the poor man from murdering the rich.'; Napoleon BonaparteTrue or False: Christianity was originally created as a way to gain power and control the masses?
False. In Antioch, when the term was first used, Christians were a tiny and persecuted Semitic minority. It is quite unlikely they were under any illusion that any time in their own lifetimes there'd be any ';masses'; to ';control.';True or False: Christianity was originally created as a way to gain power and control the masses?
Well, if that was the case, it was a complete failure (for anyone involved in its conception).

Every apostle (including Paul) except John were murdered for their beliefs. Christians were being killed even while the New Testament was still being written. Power? Only if being thrown into prison, whipped, beaten, and finally murdered is power.

It also was certainly not created as a way to control the masses. Judaism did a much better job of that than Christianity. If anything, it was created as a way loose all power, but to free the masses!

    Therefore, 100% FALSE!
    Just like every other religion.
    False
    False
I,m a non-religious history nut. I never got that impression from the hundreds of history books that I've read. What was your source ?
I don't know about ';originally';. It may have been created as a mystery religion for the Hebrews, like the many other extant mystery religions of the era, but then was changed into a literal form and used to gain power and control the masses. I'm not sure we'll ever know for sure exactly how it began, since the Roman Catholic Church did its best to eradicate any and all documents that contradicted the ';official'; version.
TRUE!!! It is still being used in that manner.

Totally true. Created to gain power, control the masses and blackmail the lands and money from the people.
    True all the way!!!!!!!!
The first 3 centuries of Christianity shows they were brutally persecuted. The first 30 popes were martyred.

And you call that a way to gain power and control masses? If anything, in todays world the real ';gaining power and control masses'; is the Dictator of Moral Relativism, which is diametrically opposed to Christianity.
Where did you come up with an idea like that? False.
False. I think that, at the very beginning, it was intended to be a true following of the teachings of a good man. However, I do think that it was corrupted rather quickly. It's pretty sad.
    False.
Looking back at the early years (prior to Constantine in the 3rd Century) you would be hard pressed to prove your case that they had any ';power and control'; over the masses.
False... The teaching of Jesus were originally about love and compassion.

But... The Christian faith was derailed by Constatine and the Council of Nicea in 312 AD. It became the state religion and was then used to gain power and control the masses.

So, not originally, but later on.
Originally? No, Christ wanted love not power control

Historically? Yes, because people wanted power

Spiritually? No, because it speaks for another world

Socially? Yes, because it affected the whole world

    Money Power? Yes and No
Have you met the masses? Nobody wants to control them. They are dolts... Their assets and finances on the other hand....

True or False, Galileo got in trouble for declaring that the sun circles Earth.?

    False:

His statements went against scripture and the doctrine of the church.

In 1613, just as Galileo published his Letters on the Solar Spots, an openly Copernican writing, the first attack came from a Dominican friar and professor of ecclesiastical history in Florence, Father Lorini. Preaching on All Soul's Day, Lorini said that Copernican doctrine violated Scripture, which clearly places Earth, and not the Sun at the center of the universe. What, if Copernicus were right, would be the sense of Joshua 10:13 which says ';So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven'; or Isaiah 40:22 that speaks of ';the heavens stretched out as a curtain'; above ';the circle of the earth';? Pressured later to apologize for his attack, Lorini later said that he ';said a couple of words to the effect that the doctrine of Ipernicus [sic], or whatever his name is, was against Holy Scripture.';True or False, Galileo got in trouble for declaring that the sun circles Earth.?
False. He got in trouble by saying that the model of celestial spheres was wrong, the church was already geocentric at that time, but could have tolerated heliocentrism...it was the claim that the planets are not held in place by invisible spheres that caused trouble.True or False, Galileo got in trouble for declaring that the sun circles Earth.?

True or false about a girls body after sex?

is it true that after a girl has sex that she stops growing? I am almost 17 years old and my boobs are like small i am a 34b or a in bra size! Another question.... What are ways to make my boob bigger without any surgeries and with out needing to use push u bras[[ any exercises or other ways to naturally make them grow]]True or false about a girls body after sex?
Sex has nothing do to with growth, other than if you get pregnant. In that case, you will expand outwards. Otherwise, you continue to grow until you reach your genetically determined height. Your boobs are about as big as they are likely to get by now, and short of surgery or a pushup/padded bra, you aren't going to get any bigger. You can do exercises for the chest muscles, but honestly that's not going to boost you a cup size. Your breast size, like your height, is a matter of genetics primarily. Best to learn to like the size you are, than be worried about it. You are a great deal more than the sum of the size of your bra cups. It doesn't matter what size they are, they will work for their intended purpose, and Mr. Right won't care what size they are. True or false about a girls body after sex?
No you don't stop growing after sex. i've never heard that one before. i think you'll find that your boobs will grow once you leave school. I was small all the way through high school and then once i turned 18/19 they shot out. it depends for every person, but i'm sure they will grow a lot more when you turn 18/19
girl, your boobs are not small. I have a small boob, and i dont even want to mention it..lol. boobs stop growing by the age 17-19...i wish my boobs would grow too and i'm already 20..so its too late for that already.. darn! anyway, the answer to your question...NO that is not true.
that's a good question and i've always wonder the same thing

I'm 16 and have the same problem and I'm a 36b and i don't know if that's normal for my age
rubbish. no connection between growth and sex. for bigger boob eat health , fat items and do exercise . 34 is o.k. for your age.
Do you think chicks who have sex when they're 13 stay like that for the rest of their lives?

As for boobs, i dunno. Just be happy with what you have.

It has nothing to do with anything.

    noo thats not true...

and the only way to make your boobs bigger without surgery is to put on weight, but then your whole body will look bigger aswell
ummm no thats another stupid rumor as far as i know and about them growing idk just don't use any pills off the internet or you might end up with ripleys believe it or not boobs lol
ive never heard that about sex... seems ridicolous... try takin birth control when i started it around 17 or 18 my boobs got much bigger pretty quick
False! There's no way to naturally make them grow, but mine didn't fully grow til I was about 21.

True or False? cobalt chloride contains two moles of cobalt ions for every one mole of cobal chloride?

please explainTrue or False? cobalt chloride contains two moles of cobalt ions for every one mole of cobal chloride?
I am assuming that you are referring to Co(II) Chloride or cobaltous chloride. The formula is CoCl2, which dissolves to one cobalt ion and 2 chloride ions. So, the answer is FALSE.

By the way, some chemists have claimed to make cobaltic chloride or CoCl3 or Co(III)Cl3.

Check with your teacher for more info but I think the given is cobaltous chloride. Hope this helps.

  • A friend says dentists refer you to a specialist for root canals as a way to scam prices. True or False?

False--you will want an endodontist (root canal specialist) to do a root canal. They go to regular dental school plus a few more years to be a specialist. They are generally faster at doing root canals %26amp; have better equipment for it. The general dentist I work for does SOME root canals, but if it looks difficult, she'll refer them out. I disagree with Dragonfly's answer to root canals are caused by ';sloppy'; dentistry. Most people need root canals because the cavity has gotten so large that it has reached the nerve of the tooth. A few times a week at my office, we will do a filling on a tooth %26amp; let the patient know that the tooth may need a root canal in the future. Every tooth reacts different to a cavity being that close to the nerve. Some people may not need one, others will notice right away that the nerve is dying, while others can go 15 years %26amp; then the tooth starts to die from the large decay that was there. Think about it this way: if you needed some kind of surgery, wouldn't you rather have a specialist do it or just your general doctor?A friend says dentists refer you to a specialist for root canals as a way to scam prices. True or False?
No, you really do need a specialist to do the root canal.

However, the big scam is WHY you need a root canal. It's often due to a faulty filling or a filling put in a cavity that still had enough bacteria in it to rot your tooth under that filling. That is the big scam--root canals are caused by sloppy dentists.A friend says dentists refer you to a specialist for root canals as a way to scam prices. True or False?
I have had 2 root canals and they have both been done by a specialist, painless.

True or False';Great vessels are those that directly come from of go into the heart.?

Well from my training in cardiovascular medicine. The answer would be true with a caveat.

Blue blood vessels, the inferior and superior vena cava taking deoxygenated blood to the right heart which is pumped through the Pulmonary Artery to the lungs to turn into oxygenated red blood in the lungs alveolar/capillary network and returned via the Pulmonary veins (of which there are four) that dump into the left heart, specifically the left atrium. Then pumped out the left ventricle to the greatest of vessels to the body via the Aorta.

So you have this list of the great vessels:

    Superior and Invferior Vena Cava

Pulmonary Artery (which splits into the right and left to go to each respective lung)

4 Pulmonary veins (all just dump into the left atrium, 2 from each lung)

    Aorta.

Great vessels can also refer mainly to the pumonary artery and aorta which can be transposed at birth in an embryological mishap which is the most common use of the term ';great vessels'; called of course, transposition of the great vessels referring almost exlusively to the pulmonary artery and aorta in the commonest form but can mean any of the vessels listed above.. Soooo, the term great vessels includes all the vessels that go into and out of the heart with the exceptions of the coronary sinus and coronary arteries which supply blood flow to the heart itself. They are great indeed, coronary arteries if clogged cause heart attacks. But great vessels are what the heart dangles from basically, not referring to its own blood circulation. So it could be construed as a bit of a trick question or poorly written as the coronary arteries and coronary sinus go into and out of the heart. Well the coronary arteries come off within millimeters of the take of the aorta.

    Hope that helps,

James P.True or False';Great vessels are those that directly come from of go into the heart.?
great vessels is such an ambiguous term!

directly into and out of your heart are:

right atrium: vena cava (superior, inferior)

    right ventricle: pulmonary artery

Huh- I always thought ';great vessels'; are the large ones, the aorta, and the vena cava. So, not all the vessels mentioned would be ';great';.

Maybe you should try wiki or one of the family doc sites!

    True or false history question?

    False

Majority whips are chosen by the majority vote of the majority party of the respective house.
False. They are chosed by the party that is in the majority
    false

True or False Poll: You can pick your friends but you can't pick your family?

And do you like everyone in your family? Ever think of just NOT talking to a family member anymore?True or False Poll: You can pick your friends but you can't pick your family?
It is true that you can pick your friends but you can't pick your family. However, not all family members act like family all of the time and if the family member is that crappy towards me, I not only think of not talking to a family member anymore, I actually don't talk to them unless they shape up.True or False Poll: You can pick your friends but you can't pick your family?
True, i never had a prob with my family , but i had experience from my mom family , who had a prob with family heritage, and even now she never talks to her brother and sister.. so sad really... how money can breaks family.
    False.

I went friendless for years because I came up with the idea that my friends HAVE to be people I have everything in common with. Well, the friendless years ended that myth.

(howls)

    -Kaylie

True or False- If you don't fight the enemy on their land, they will come and attack you on yours?

again...iraq was not responsible for 911.True or False- If you don't fight the enemy on their land, they will come and attack you on yours?

Absolute truth; the 9/11 event prooved it.
Thank you for the strategic advice, my dear. Upon enslaving your planet I can promise you your servitude to me will be most enjoyable, given time.
True enough, that is why I was getting work related nastygrams on my personal email account.
Did 9/11 teach you the answer to this? Before we went on the offensive, we were getting bombed everywhere!! Now, we have it contained to an area the size of two mid sized states halfway accross the world.
    George Bush thinks so.
    TRUE
    True.

Take an 'A' for the day.

Now, move to the head of the class.
False. But it depends on who the enemy is and what counrty they might attack.
Yes, that is true. The best defense is always a good offense.
False. The Native Americans had no design in attacking Europe. Ireland had no designs on attacking England. Iraq had no designs on attacking the USA. The Aztecs had no designs on attacking Spain. The French had no designs on attacking Germany. The list goes on and on.
true look at the invasion of Hawaii from japan. that was unexpected.
rhetorical and designed to be inflammatory. i don't think Saddam could have mounted too much of an offense.
    false
    Eventually yes.
That is False. But we are breeding terrorists for generations to come, by attacking the wrong country, the Republicans might make that dream come true.
Who is the enemy again? Sunnis? Shia? Al-sadr? Saddam?
Haha, classic BS that's been used since the beginning of time.
Yes you're right, I'm sure Saddam was planning a massive invasion of America... good thing we nipped it in the bud and got over there to have our soldiers do their dyin eh?
True Failure to stop aggression of one county or in one country shows a week and venerable society thus if sufficient strength is gained by one they will look for who is seen as weak and the attack is on. Look at how WWI and WWII began and you will see how this has happened in the past and by all indication will happen again. If you don't fight to protect what you have you are sending a message to the world that you really don't care about what you have.
