Is this true or false?? All equations are identities, but not all identities are equations.?

i believe its false.

an equation is anything with an equal sign in it.

an identity can be an equation for this reason but not all equations are identities bc some equations are as simple as 1 = 1.Is this true or false?? All equations are identities, but not all identities are equations.?
false; you want the converse

An equation is just a special type of sentence: one that asserts two things are the same. It can be true or false.
