Work is done when an object with a large mass applies force? true or false?

I'd say work is done when something reacts to a forceWork is done when an object with a large mass applies force? true or false?
SO you trying to say if a force is applied on a large mass? Well, this statement is true and false. Firstly, question is too general, we are not sure whether the object is moving, secondly we also need to know whether object is travelling in the direction of the force thus it is unsure whether work is done or not. By the formulae ForcexDistance=ENERGY

IF force is exerted BUT object not moving, then no work is done.Work is done when an object with a large mass applies force? true or false?
No work is done. A mountain setting on the surface of the earth is appling force but no work is being produced.
